Multidisciplinary training in the Pathobiology of Infectious Disease and Host Response is offered as a sub-track in the Pathobiology Graduate Program, and a wide range of thesis projects are available in the laboratories of faculty trainers. Topics include cellular and molecular immunology, infection initiation & microbial pathogenesis, defense mechanisms in infection, and more. Students are encouraged to present their work at local and national meetings.
